Round 2 (Oct 1) Individual Tournament Results and Points | 2022-2023 GHSFL Season
In the Round 2 tournament held at Pope HS, Lambert fencers had a great showing and took home 3 medals! Lambert's medal streak continues!
In the men's event, senior Andy Zhang won first place again, beating out a field of 79 fencers. 3 other men's fencers gained their first points of the season. Freshman Daksh Reddy had a great showing, earning a top 8 finish in only his second GHSFL tournament. Juniors Sean Paek and Wes Sosnin also fenced well and placed in the top 16.
In the women's event, 2 Lambert fencers made it onto the podium. Junior Nicole Moon won a silver medal to accompany her gold from Round 1. Junior Zarina Wang won bronze, her first medal in GHSFL! Senior Kayley Kim fenced into the top 8, adding onto her strong point tally.
Great job to all Lambert fencers, and good luck for Round 3! Individual and team point standings will be released after Round 3.
