Round 1 Tournament

Welcome to the 2017-2018 Lambert Fencing Club tournament season!

  • The Georgia High School Fencing League GHSFL tournament season starts this weekend. Since the league has grown so much in the past few years each tournament is broken out into 3 locations of competition and tournaments are every other weekend. This Saturday, Lambert will compete at the ROUND 1 TOURNAMENT hosted by South Forsyth High School Fencing Club at South Forsyth High School. The fencers have all been informed of all the tournament details via Groupme. Here is a link for the season's complete Tournament Schedule

  • All fencers were notified and had the opportunity to sign up via Groupme. We encourage all club members to participate in all the tournaments but we understand that there may be conflicts from time to time therefore they are not mandatory. Lambert's Roster for the ROUND 1 TOURNAMENT this Saturday consists of 17 men and 12 women, not a bad turn out for our team of 38 members! All fencers are expected to stay until the end of the tournament to support the team members that continue onto the final rounds for the day. We encourage all parents to attend and support your fencer. It's a long day and they need all the encouragement they can get!

Round 1 Tournament Info:

The address of South Forsyth is 585 Peachtree Pkwy, Cumming, GA 30041. Download the school map for parking and building location. The tournament will be held in the Blue Gym. Sign-in and glove & mask check will be at the Cafeteria entrance to the Blue Gym. Schools will be assigned a classroom for bag storage. Please remind fencers to clean up their own trash-especially liquid spills. There will be concessions for breakfast and lunch so make sure your fencer has money or they are welcome to bring their own lunch. Also, make sure they pack enough water or Gatorade to stay hydrated throughout the day. They will come home exhausted!!!

8:30 - Men's Sign in Closes
