Directors/ Referee Additional Clinic

Chattahoochee has added another director/referee clinic.

There are 2 options for getting certified as a GHSFL Director/Referee:

October 10th (Saturday) from 10 am to 3 pm - Pope High School

October 15th (Thursday) from 6:30 to 9:00 pm – Chattahoochee High School in the Cafeteria

(Below is the relevant information for the clinic on the 10th.)

If you are interested in attending please email me back at butlerc3@fultonschools.org and state that you are with Lambert High School Fencing Club.

You will need to bring $15 per person, a check should be made out to Kathy Vail.

If you are interested in getting involved within the fencing club, you may want to consider working as a director at tournaments. You will need to get certified with Georgia High School Fencing League. There is a clinic this coming Saturday Oct. 10, 2015 at Pope High School from 10 am - 3 pm. Please see the following information if you are interested.

Referee Training Clinic Saturday the 10th of October starting at 10:00 am till about 3:00 pm. At this event you will attend the mandatory rule review, take your written test, then you will be observed by an official league observer (Me) and walk out the door certified… in theory. Cost for the clinic is $15, please make any checks out to David Eichler. We will not be taking a lunch break so if you think you’re going to get hungry bring a snack or a lunch. I will try to get us out as soon as possible, but we have a lot to cover.

Prior to attending the clinic please have read the rules of Epee on your own.

You do not need to focus your efforts on Sabre, Foil rules or any rules about right of way.

By the way if you have a smart phone/tablet this can be saved to your book rack under the PDF section. I recommend that you keep this handy when you direct.
